Course Description
- Review and reinforce nursing concepts and knowledge required for the NCLEX exam.
- Develop effective test-taking strategies for the NCLEX exam format.
- Build confidence and reduce anxiety through extensive practice and simulations.

Course Duration: 6 months
Week 1: Introduction and Test-Taking Strategies
– Overview of the NCLEX exam format and scoring
– Types of NCLEX questions (multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blank, hot spot, etc.)
– Test-taking strategies (eliminating options, prioritizing needs, etc.)
– Time management and stress management techniques
Week 2-3: Safe and Effective Care Environment
– Management of care, safety, and infection control
– Legal and ethical principles in nursing practice
– Informatics and documentation
Week 4-5: Health Promotion and Maintenance
– Principles of growth and development
– Prevention and early detection of disease
– Aging process and care of the older adult
Week 6: Psychosocial Integrity
– Coping mechanisms and therapeutic communication
– Mental health disorders and treatments
– Substance use disorders and abuse/neglect
Week 7-8: Physiological Integrity
– Basic care and comfort
– Pharmacology and parenteral therapies
– Reduction of risk potential
– Physiological adaptation and homeostasis
